Volleyball Recap: Somerset Academy Collegiate Comes Up Short

Somerset Academy Collegiate lost against SA S back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears came up short against the Saints, falling 3-0. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Somerset Academy Collegiate was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-23.

Somerset Academy Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 16-12-1. As for SA S, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

Somerset Academy Collegiate and SA S should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Bears (ranked 618th) will meet KIPP Somos Collegiate (ranked 1418th) at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, SA S will take on Bracken Christian on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (477 vs. 1316).
