Recap: Lakeview Bulldogs vs. McDonald Blue Devils
The Lakeview Bulldogs won the last time they faced the McDonald Blue Devils, and things went their way on Friday too. Lakeview came out on top against McDonald by a score of 55-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lakeview.
Among those leading the charge was Kyle Senkowitz, who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Ryan Gee was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why McDonald lost, one person who can't be blamed is Wyatt Wolford. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wolford has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joey Cappuzzello, who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Lakeview's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for McDonald, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Lakeview will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. McDonald will be home for the holidays to greet Mineral Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Allowing an average of 65.5 points per game, Mineral Ridge has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this game.
