Basketball Recap: Big Valley Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Big Valley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-33 victory over the Elk Creek Elks on Wednesday.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-17. As for Elk Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Coming up, Big Valley will head out to square off against Hayfork at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Elk Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
