Shasta hadn't done well against Foothill recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wolves walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cougars. The victory was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on seven straight.

The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-13, 22-25, 25-15.

Olivia Sutter was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 13 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Sutter wasn't the only good servers: Shasta was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 14 consecutive matches.

Shasta's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Foothill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11.

Shasta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Pleasant Valley on the 21st. As for Foothill, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Chico on the 21st.
