It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Groveport-Madison had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 victory over the Beavercreek Beavers. The win was familiar territory for the Cruisers, who have now won seven matches in a row.

Groveport-Madison pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for Beavercreek, they moved to 11-15 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
