Basketball Game Preview: Eastside Rams vs. Buchholz Bobcats + Official Tickets

Eastside is 1-9 against Buchholz since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Rams will look to defend their home court against the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

After dropping their season opener at home, Buchholz is headed out to face a Rams team ready to give their home crowd a win. Eastside lost 62-36 to Williston on Saturday. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-16.

Despite the defeat, Eastside had strong showings from Asiya McDonald, who posted nine points, and Gabby Webber, who put up ten points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zion Suggs, who had four points.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Buchholz duked it out with Newberry on Thursday. The Bobcats took a blow against the Panthers, falling 75-46.

Eastside might still be hurting after the 60-38 loss they got from Buchholz in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
