Ignacio is 9-1 against Ridgway since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bobcats will host the Demons at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ignacio has four straight victories, Ridgway has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Ignacio and Pagosa Springs meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Bobcats walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pirates.

Ignacio walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 22-25, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Ridgway lost 3-0 to Telluride two weeks ago.

Ridgway was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-22.

Ridgway's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Ignacio, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.

Ignacio took their victory against Ridgway in their previous meeting back in August of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Demons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
