Soccer Recap: Osborne Comes Up Short

Osborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the South Cobb Eagles. Osborne were not able to make up for their defeat to South Cobb from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Osborne's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for South Cobb, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osborne will take on Paulding County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Osborne's defense better be ready for this one: Paulding County has averaged an impressive 5.9 goals per game this season. As for South Cobb, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when South Cobb face off against Hillgrove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillgrove will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something South Cobb surely won't give up without a fight.
