Soccer Recap: Pilot Point Comes Up Short

Pilot Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the Gainesville Leopards. While losing is never fun, Pilot Point can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 807th, while Gainesville are ranked 91st).

Pilot Point's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Gainesville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pilot Point will take on rival Panther Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gainesville is set to square off against their familiar foe Bonham at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
