Fairbanks and West Liberty-Salem are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers face off against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fairbanks is coming into the game hot, having won their last 12 games.

Fairbanks' win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for West Liberty-Salem, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Fairbanks beat West Liberty-Salem 49-37 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fairbanks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
