Basketball Game Preview: Reseda Regents vs. Canoga Park Hunters

Reseda has gone 9-1 against Canoga Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Regents will host the Hunters at 4:30 p.m. Canoga Park took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Reseda, who comes in off a win.

Reseda is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 51-5 victory over Fulton. With the Regents ahead 22-1 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Reseda to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marisela Rosales, who posted 26 points along with six boards and six steals. Those 26 points gave Rosales a new career-high. Brittany Gonzalez was another key player, putting up 16 points and six assists.

Meanwhile, Canoga Park was beaten by Faith Baptist 40-9 on Wednesday. The matchup marked the Hunters' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Canoga Park now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Reseda, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Reseda against Canoga Park in their previous matchup back in February, as the team secured a 61-20 victory. Will the Regents repeat their success, or do the Hunters have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
