Soccer Recap: Rockwall-Heath Falls Short of Wylie in the Playoffs

Rockwall-Heath and Wylie squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Rockwall-Heath had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Rockwall-Heath can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 178th, while Wylie are ranked 25th).

Rockwall-Heath is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13. As for Wylie, their win bumped their record up to 19-1.

Rockwall-Heath does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wylie, they will challenge Duncanville on Monday. Duncanville will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something Wylie surely won't give up without a fight.
