Basketball Recap: Western Dubuque Takes a Loss

Western Dubuque lost against Wahlert back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Western Dubuque Bobcats fell 74-63 to the Wahlert Golden Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (55), the Bobcats still had to take the loss.

Western Dubuque has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points over those games. Wahlert now has a winning record of 10-9.

As of now, neither Western Dubuque nor Wahlert have any future games scheduled.
