Football Recap: Superior Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Superior had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 43 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Victor Pirates a 41-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bobcats also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Superior's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Turner Milender, who rushed for 51 yards and two scores on only five carries, and also threw for three yards and one TD. Milender is becoming a predictor of the Bobcats' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Superior's leading receiver Gannon Quinlan was Milender's top target yet again, picking up 75 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one score on the ground.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Superior's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Tyler Mellon, Jack Kemp, and Sam Doughty, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Superior's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Victor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

As of now, neither Superior nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
