Softball Recap: Point Pleasant Boro Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Pinelands Regional

Point Pleasant Boro faced Pinelands Regional in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Panthers fell 4-0 to the Wildcats. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Point Pleasant Boro's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-2. As for Pinelands Regional, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.
