Softball Recap: Atlantic City Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Atlantic City's offense. They came up short against the Camden Catholic Fighting Irish on Saturday, falling 15-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Atlantic City and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Camden Catholic, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.

Looking ahead, Atlantic City will head out on the road to square off against Millville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Camden Catholic, they will take on Winslow Township at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 23 runs per game on average), something the Fighting Irish will no doubt try to take advantage of.
