Soccer Recap: North Johnston Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northern Nash, North Johnston was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out East Duplin 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but North Johnston was the better team in the second half.

Sydney Daughtry and Destiny Woodall scored both of North Johnston's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

The win got North Johnston back to even at 2-2. As for East Duplin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-4-2.

Coming up, North Johnston will face off against South Granville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Duplin, a feisty cat fight will be fought as East Duplin duke it out with James Kenan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be James Kenan's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
