Nashoba Regional lost a close one when they played two weeks ago but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on Thursday was a bit more commanding. They were dealt a 42-7 defeat at the hands of the Clinton Gaels. The Wolves just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Connor Cox and Gavin Naughton. Cox rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries while Naughton rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown. An impressive showing, but Cox really ramped things up playing D: he picked up two sacks and made six total tackles.

Nashoba Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Clinton, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.
