Football Recap: Bartlett Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bartlett can now relate to. They were dealt a 42-8 loss at the hands of the West Boylston/Tahanto Lions on Friday. The Indians were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the six matchups prior), but the Lions' defense proved too tough.

With the defeat, Bartlett broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3. As for West Boylston/Tahanto, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Bartlett and West Boylston/Tahanto will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Indians see the field they'll take on Southbridge at 10:15 a.m. on the 27th. As for West Boylston/Tahanto, their break will end when they face Maynard at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th.
