Basketball Recap: Hope Johnson and Lillie Harris Secure Win for Paulding County

Paulding County put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 57-53 W against the North Cobb Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Paulding County to victory were Lillie Harris and Hope Johnson. Harris went 10-for-17 to rack up 29 points and five steals, while Johnson shot 57% from the field en route to 23 points in addition to five boards and four steals. Johnson's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

Paulding County's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Cobb, their record is now 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paulding County will head out to square off against Dalton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Cobb, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Pickens at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
