Gar-Field came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 19-14 W against the Forest Park Bruins. That's more bragging rights for the Red Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Marcus Troy Hamlin had a dynamite game, rushing for 131 yards and one TD on only five carries, while also throwing for 153 yards on 14 of 22 attempts.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Gar-Field proved: they limited Forest Park to a paltry 2.1 yards per carry. The Red Wolves didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 13.2.

Gar-Field's record now sits at 5-2. As for Forest Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
