Basketball Recap: Marlboro Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Christ the Cornerstone Academy on Thursday, Marlboro Academy came back down to earth. The contest between the Dragons and the Green Sea Floyds Trojans didn't end well, with the Dragons falling 55-41. The Dragons have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Marlboro Academy still got an impressive performance from Elijah Shepard, who posted four points and five assists.

Marlboro Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-42 loss against Dillon Christian on the 24th. As for Green Sea Floyds, they have also already played their next game, an 80-43 victory against Conway Christian on the 24th.
