Recap: Raymond Seagulls vs. Montesano Bulldogs
The Raymond Seagulls were the 60-47 winner over the Montesano Bulldogs when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Raymond suffered a rough 67-47 loss at the hands of Montesano on Saturday.
Raymond's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Austin Snodgrass, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Talan Yearout, who scored 7 points along with 8 rebounds.
Raymond's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Montesano, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Raymond will take on Ocosta at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Montesano, they will be playing at home against Centralia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
