Soccer Recap: Brevard Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Brevard walked away with it. They won by a goal and slipped past the Pisgah Bears 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Shaymos Geor and Rion Coadwell scored all three of Brevard's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 31 goals.

Brevard's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those eight matchups. As for Pisgah, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9-3.

Brevard wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 1-1 win against Forbush on the 10th. Pisgah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
