Football Recap: Devon Bradford and Justyn Jordan Pace Fountain-Fort Carson Defense

Fountain-Fort Carson and Pine Creek pushed the score to 49-16 the last time they played Pine Creek, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Trojans took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Fountain-Fort Carson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Devon Bradford and Justyn Jordan.

It was another big night for Xavier Lukes, who rushed for 200 yards and two scores, and also picked up 32 receiving yards for Pine Creek. The Eagles are undefeated when Lukes posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

Fountain-Fort Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Pine Creek, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

As of now, neither Fountain-Fort Carson nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
