Haleyville waltzed into their matchup on Monday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They never let the West End Patriots get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Haleyville got a massive performance out of Jacob Barnwell, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave Barnwell a new career-high. Evan Cagle also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Barnwell wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Haleyville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for Haleyville: they were averaging 5.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.

Haleyville's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for West End, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Haleyville will be playing in front of their home fans against Sweet Water at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. As for West End, they will host Corner at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
