Volleyball Game Preview: Alleman Pioneers vs. Kewanee Boilermakers + How To Watch

The Alleman Pioneers will face off against the Kewanee Boilermakers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Alleman is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Alleman saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Monmouth-Roseville.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kewanee, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Bureau Valley on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Boilermakers as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Kewanee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-17, 25-23.

Alleman's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Kewanee, the victory got them back to even at 10-10-1.

Alleman came out on top in a nail-biter against Kewanee in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Pioneers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Boilermakers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
