Football Recap: Make It Ten in a Row for Mountain View + How To Watch

Mountain View had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Glenrock Herders to the tune of 79-20 on Friday. The Buffalos' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jackson Sawyer was his usual excellent self, rushing for 168 yards and four TDs on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 72 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Justus Platts, who rushed for 55 yards and a pair of scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Mountain View was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 421 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

The win keeps Mountain View at an undefeated 10-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.9 points on average this season. As for Glenrock, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Looking ahead, Mountain View will be playing at home against Lovell at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Buffalos 13.9, the Bulldogs 14.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Glenrock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
