Football Recap: Bradshaw Christian Falls Short of Sonora in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bradshaw Christian can now relate to. They lost 48-22 to the Sonora Wildcats on Friday. The Pride were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.

When it comes to explaining why Bradshaw Christian lost, don't look at Devin Hatcher. Despite the final result, he rushed for 148 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. Hatcher is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Sonora's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cash Byington, who rushed for 186 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. Those 186 rushing yards gave Byington a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brody Speer, who rushed for 119 yards and three TDs on only seven carries.
