Smithtown East entered their tilt with Half Hollow Hills East on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the RedHawks by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Bulls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Smithtown East walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-23, 22-25, 25-8, 25-17.

Leading Smithtown East to victory were Lily Sullivan and Rosemarie Remsen. Sullivan had 16 digs and five aces, while Remsen had eight digs and four aces. Those eight digs gave Remsen a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Smithtown East was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive games.
