Soccer Recap: Belton Takes a Loss

Belton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Waco Lions, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 696th, while the Lions are ranked 196th).

Belton's loss dropped their record down to 3-15-2. As for Waco, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-4-3.

Belton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waco, they will challenge Shoemaker at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
