Basketball Recap: Carver High School of Engineering & Science Starts Season with Win at Home

Carver High School of Engineering & Science gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They breezed past the Hill Freedman World Academy Hawks to the tune of 77-33. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Carver High School of Engineering & Science just coasted through the last quarter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carver High School of Engineering & Science to victory, but perhaps none more so than Billy Henighan, who went 6-for-11 en route to 14 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Treyvon Deadrick, who posted 13 points and six steals.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 56-51 victory against Springside Chestnut Hill Academy on the 3rd. As for Hill Freedman World Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 54-35 defeat against Paul Robeson on the 2nd.
