Football Recap: Forest Grove Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Forest Grove was feeling good fresh off their 35-0 takedown of McNary last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings were beaten by the Wilsonville Wildcats 51-7 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

Adler Case threw for 92 yards on seven of ten attempts. Miguel Quijas was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards.

Trevor Glos continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wilsonville, throwing for 229 yards and five touchdowns while completing 79.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 40 yards and one TD. Glos is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season.

Forest Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Wilsonville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Forest Grove will host McKay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will be up against the Royal Scots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
