Volleyball Recap: Northwest Guilford Starts Season with Win Against Page

Northwest Guilford had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Page Pirates by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Page is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Northwest Guilford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Triad Math and Science Academy on the 14th. After both having extra time off, Page and Mount Tabor will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Page's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
