Volleyball Recap: Culver Community Cavaliers vs. Triton Trojans

Culver Community came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Triton Trojans, falling 3-0. Hayden Lute paced Culver Community's offense, picking up nine kills. Lute got some help from Sophie Grossman-Norris and her ten assists.

Triton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lydia Hammond led the charge by getting 23 digs. Those 23 digs gave Hammond a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Clara Doll, who had seven digs and one block.

Culver Community's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-5. As for Triton, their record now sits at 8-3.
