Palisade extended their winning streak to nine on Saturday, bumping them up to 21-2. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the Durango Demons. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by just one run.

Palisade let Hunter Howard and Kian Kinslow run wild. Howard went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI, while Kinslow went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles Kinslow has posted since back in March of 2025. Tobyn Trottier was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double.

As for Durango, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-7. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by just one run.

On Durango's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Clark, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was Clark's first of the season. Another was Landin Padilla, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Palisade nor Durango have any future games scheduled.
