Basketball Game Preview: South Glens Falls Bulldogs vs. Guilderland Flying Dutchmen

The South Glens Falls Bulldogs will square off against the Guilderland Flying Dutchmen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 103-39, which was the final score in South Glens Falls' tilt against Glens Falls on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 341st, while the Black Bears are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, Guilderland came up short against Bethlehem Central on Friday and fell 51-42. The loss continues a trend for the Flying Dutchmen in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost nine in a row.

South Glens Falls' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points over those games. As for Guilderland, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
