Basketball Recap: Montague Comes Up Short

Montague was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Fremont Packers, falling 70-30. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-40 back in December of 2024.

Montague's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Fremont, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Montague Wildcats challenge the Shelby Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Fremont has already played their next game (against Grant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
