Football Game Preview: Granville Blue Aces vs. Sheridan Generals

The Granville Blue Aces will challenge the Sheridan Generals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Sheridan better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Granville's game on Friday is any indication, that's when Granville really gets things going. Everything went the Blue Aces' way against Mt. Vernon as they made off with a 35-13 win. Considering the Blue Aces have won four matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jackson McMillan looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 97 yards and three TDs.

Granville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 342 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Sheridan beat New Lexington 31-21 on Friday.

Sheridan's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.8 points on average over those games. As for Granville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
