Baseball Game Preview: Evergreen Valley Cougars vs. Ann Sobrato Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Evergreen Valley will face off against Ann Sobrato. The Cougars are taking a road trip to face off against the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Evergreen Valley is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Evergreen Valley fell victim to Ann Sobrato and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Logan Burton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits.

Ann Sobrato is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Evergreen Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.
