Basketball Recap: Norwood Comes Up Short

Norwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. The game between the Mustangs and the Medfield Warriors didn't end well, with the Mustangs falling 76-57. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Warriors are ranked 50th).

Norwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Medfield, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwood will host Dover-Sherborn at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Medfield, they will welcome Dedham at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
