Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waterbury Career Academy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Derby Red Raiders 92-25. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-14.

Waterbury Career Academy was led to victory by Cesar Cuapio and Marcellus Robinson. Cuapio posted 18 points, while Robinson earned 16 points. Those 18 points gave Cuapio a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Maekhi Weaver, who scored ten points.

The victory was the third in a row for Waterbury Career Academy, bringing their record for this year to 10-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.7 points per game. As for Derby, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Waterbury Career Academy has already played their next matchup, a 72-67 win against Holy Cross on the 31st. As for Derby, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 87-27 loss against Crosby on the 31st.
