Football Recap: McDowell Takes a Loss

McDowell extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 5-5. They were dealt a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Freedom Patriots. The game marked the first time this year in which the Titans were not able to get on the board.

Danny Charles Brown threw for 88 yards on 11 of 21 attempts. Jay'Ron Moore was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards. On the ground, Hunter Pittman rushed for 34 yards.

As for Freedom, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Considering they have won seven matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaden Davis produced another solid effort throwing for 175 yards and two TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 55 yards and one score on only six carries. Freedom's leading receiver Juju Dominguez was Davis' top target yet again, picking up 61 receiving yards, while also rushing for 66 yards.

Looking ahead, McDowell will take on Page at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Freedom does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
