While Spring Hill's victory against Cascade wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Spring Hill sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over Cascade on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Champions: they've now won seven in a row.
Spring Hill got a great performance from Ethan Christie as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Christie has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
