Football Recap: Bells' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

There was early excitement for Bells after they claimed the first score on Friday, but it was Leonard who ended up claiming the real prize. The Panthers fell 29-22 to the Tigers. The contest was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Panthers couldn't quite close it out.

Although Bells took the loss, they still got scores from Jace Weger and Caden King.

The defeat snapped Bells' winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-6 record. As for Leonard, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Bells does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Leonard, they will welcome Gunter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Leonard will need to watch out since Gunter has now posted at least 31 points in their last six games.
