Northwestern is a perfect 5-0 against Indian Land since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Northwestern knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Indian Land likes a good challenge.

Northwestern is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Gaffney by a score of 52-45. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northwestern to victory, but perhaps none more so than Xavier Means, who rushed for 120 yards and two scores, and also threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns. Kameron Vance was Means' top target, picking up 47 receiving yards and one TD, while also rushing for 84 yards and one score on only 11 carries.

Meanwhile, Indian Land faced T.L. Hanna in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Warriors came out on top in a nail-biter against the Yellow Jackets, sneaking past 43-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since August 23, 2024.

A big part of Indian Land's win came down to the chemistry between Matt Kucia and his top target Sequel Patterson. Kucia threw for 407 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes while Patterson gained 237 total yards and two touchdowns. What's more, Patterson racked up 141 receiving yards, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenneth Wilson, who picked up 130 receiving yards and one TD.

Northwestern's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Indian Land, their win bumped their record up to an identical 11-1.

Everything came up roses for Northwestern against Indian Land in their previous meeting back in October, as the squad secured a 51-13 victory. In that matchup, the Trojans amassed a halftime lead of 37-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
