Point Pleasant Boro is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home last Tuesday. They put the hurt on Toms River South with a sharp 12-1 victory.

Meanwhile, Manalapan posted their closest win since April 27, 2024 on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Lacey Township.

Sophia Miranda spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Manalapan's win was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Heckel, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
