After flying high against the Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars last Tuesday, the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans came back down to earth. Edmund Burke Academy ended up on the wrong side of a tough 58-36 walloping at the hands of the Cavaliers on Friday. Edmund Burke Academy has struggled against the Cavaliers recently, as their match on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Edmund Burke Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harrison McClellan, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Blake Reddick, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
