You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Eureka on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Carlin Railroaders out of the water with a 41-10 final score. The Vandals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Eureka had a senior duo take command as Megan Johnson went 5 of 12 on her way to 11 points in addition to six assists and six steals and Natalie Gray went 8 for 15 en route to 16 points. Gray is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Mckay, who posted six points and three steals.

Eureka's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.8 points. As for Carlin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Eureka didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-24 win against Owyhee on the 1st. Carlin has also already played their next match, a 43-29 loss against Lund on the 1st.
