Flag Football Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Apex Friendship's Fourth in Last Five Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Willow Spring, Apex Friendship was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Green Hope Falcons a 7-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 31-6 two weeks ago.

Apex Friendship is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.2 points on average over those games. As for Green Hope, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Apex Friendship has already played their next matchup, a 14-6 win against Green Level on the 15th. As for Green Hope, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 27-14 loss against Willow Spring on the 20th.
